Our afterschool and summer programs are for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Homework Club and Summer Academic Enrichment provide high-quality education that complements the learning happening in schools and at home. We offer tuition assistance and scholarships for families that qualify.

  • The program meets Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2:00 – 6:00 pm and Wednesday: 12:30 – 6:00 pm; Homework Club schedule follows the SFUSD 2024-25 Calendar

  • Daily literacy and STEAM education, activities that reinforce school learning, and additional support with homework and classes

  • After homework, children engage in a variety of activities including outdoor recreation, cooking classes, art projects, gardening, and more

  • Teachers meet children at E.R. Taylor Elementary (students from all schools welcome) and receive healthy snacks each day

  • Families are welcome to enroll their children or enquire about the waitlist throughout the year

Summer Academic Enrichment • 2024
Summer Camp Program

SAE is a full-day, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 3 pm, summer camp with academic learning and enrichment activities.

SAE 2024 is now full. To add your child’s name to the waitlist, please complete the Interest Form. For questions, contact us at SAE@fccenters.org or 415.715.6746. We offer free access to computer equipment and tech support to assist with online enrollment.

2024 SUMMER SESSIONS:

  • Out of this World: June 17 – 28  (no program June 19)
    Blast off into the summer on an exploration of new worlds, time, and space! From catapult launches and rocket construction to time capsules and volcanic explosions, children will grow their skills in STEAM and literacy.

  • Thinking Outside the Box: July 1 – 19  (no program July 4)
    Get messy with tactile learning and hands-on projects in science, arts, cooking, and more. Kids will concoct slime, knead handmade pizza dough, and conduct wild science experiments using their curiosity and creativity.

  • The Great Outdoors: July 22 – August 9
    Let’s venture into the beautiful nature that surrounds us! Learn about seeds, sprouts, animals, and habitats through field trips, art projects, and outdoor learning.
