Our afterschool and summer programs are for children in kindergarten through 5th grade and provide high-quality education that complements the learning happening in schools and at home. We offer tuition assistance and scholarships for families that qualify.

Afterschool Program:
Homework Club

  • HW Club is an afterschool program (Monday-Friday) that emphasizes literacy and academics in a fun, social environment.

  • Teachers meet children at E.R. Taylor Elementary (students from all schools welcome) and walk to the Portola center for the daily program.

  • Focus is on reinforcing the learning that happens in schools, providing additional support on school assignments and classes. After homework, children play outdoors, create art projects, and learn new games.

Families are welcome to enroll their children or enquire about the waitlist throughout the year. Contact hwclub@fccenters.org.

Summer Program:
