Family Connections is thrilled to share our new Excelsior center mural, painted by local artist, Neil Ballard. Hundreds of people voted to select the mural design (view some of our favorite voting moments here and here), and we love having this beautiful forest part of our center!

Neil said of this project, “As a kid growing up in Oregon with many family visits to Northern California, I was fortunate to have a lot of opportunities to learn about trees. I’m pleased to create a work that celebrates the trees that I love in the center’s Pre-K play area.”
