Event Information
Do I need tickets for Bloom Shaboom?
No, tickets are not required and all are welcome to attend! We do encourage you to register so we can prepare materials for event activities.
How much does Bloom Shaboom cost?
It’s FREE to attend. The gardening, games, arts and crafts, and face painting activities are also free. There will be free fruit for children.
Will alcohol be sold at the event?
Yes, if you are 21 years and older, you can purchase beer and wine at the bar. There will be free mezcal tastings for those 21+!
Can I make purchases or donations with a credit card?
Of course! We happily accept donations and purchases made by credit card, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
Is food sold at the event?
Yes! Enjoy tacos and burritos from El Gran Taco Loco, dim sum from Sassy Foods / Imperial Garden, and drinks and treats from Hey Neighbor Café.
Will there be seating at the event?
Yes, we will have chairs and benches throughout the event! Please enjoy the music, lunch, and more under the tents and on the benches.
Are masks required to enter?
It’s an outdoor event and masks are not required. We encourage anyone who would like to wear masks to please do so.
You are welcome to bring:
- Reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen, sun protection, umbrellas, ponchos
- Friends, family, neighbors, and pets
Bloom Shaboom is a smoke-free event. Please do not bring outside alcohol or illicit drugs to the event.
Transportation & Parking
Where is Bloom Shaboom?
Bloom Shaboom will take place at the BMO parking lot and 1 Burrows Street, San Francisco, CA 94134.
How should I get to Bloom Shaboom?
We strongly recommend that all attendees walk, bike, or use public transportation. Bus lines 8, 8AX, 8BX, 9, and 9R run along San Bruno Avenue and lines 54 and 44 intersect San Bruno Avenue. You can use SFMTA’s trip planner to find the best route from your home.
Is there parking at Bloom Shaboom?
There is no public parking lot at the event. Street parking in the area is very limited. Cars parked illegally or in driveways will be ticketed and towed. Patrons are encouraged to use public transportation, carpools, or rideshares.
Is bike parking available?
Yes, bike parking is available on San Bruno Avenue and around Palega Park.
