It’s been a full summer of volunteer, MYEEP, and intern support at Family Connections!

We are so grateful to our MYEEPs for their tremendous contributions to our programs. The Mayor’s Youth Employment Education Program (MYEEP) empowers high school students through paid work opportunities with community organizations, and we’ve loved having William, Karina, Jonathan, Anthony, Emma, Catarina, Zubi, and Doris at FCC.

Lexie, our Healthy Connections intern, and Esther, our volunteer from the UCSF School of Dentistry, have both brought their background in public health to our educational programs.

And volunteers Jazlyn and Alyssa (high school students that participated in our programs as young kids) enriched our summer camps and Pre-K with their experiences and creativity.

It’s a bittersweet farewell to this incredible crew, but we hope to continue their connection to FCC beyond the summer!
