Director, Community Affair, San Francisco Office of the Assessor Director, Community Affairs, San Francisco Office of the Assessor Nicole Agbayani joined Family Connections’ Board in 2019, after having previously worked very closely with the organization for several years in her role on the Excelsior Action Group. Nicole is a native San Franciscan who serves as Director of Community Affairs for the San Francisco Office of the Assessor. In this capacity, Nicole leads a city-wide program of community outreach, targeting neighborhood, business, and industry stakeholders with an emphasis on taxpayer education, relationship building, and proactive customer service. Secretary • Engineering Manager, Recurly Secretary Engineering Manager, Recurly Chris Bunting is a software engineer, radio host, and avid outdoor enthusiast. Residing in Northern California for much of his life, he spent eight summers working for the Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department beginning as a volunteer and concluding as the Director of Camp for Doyle Adventure Camp. Between participating in community building endeavors such as the Market Street Prototyping Festival and his weekly radio program Roll Over Easy, he’s found joy in learning about the Bay Area’s rich history, ideas, and people that make this slice of Earth so special. Patent Agent, Mintz Patent Agent, Mintz Roy Hom joined Family Connections’ Board in 2019, adding his knowledge of the Excelsior neighborhood where he formerly resided to his professional expertise. Roy is a Patent Agent at Mintz et al who focuses his practice on US and international patent prosecution and counseling for life science companies and academic institutions. Roy holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and is listed as co-inventor on more than 20 patent applications and 18 issued US patents.Roy Hom

Mark Snyder has been on Family Connections’ Board since 2015 and has a lengthy background in working with nonprofit organizations and marginalized communities. Mark is Communications Manager for Gap Inc, serving on the platform and values team. Mark was previously Director of Communications for Equality Federation, where his role included Strategic Messaging. Brand Awareness. Media Relations and Movement Building. He has a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC Rossier School of Education, and a Masters of Social Welfare/Social Work from UCLA School of Public Affairs. Tim has previous experience as the Chair of the Board of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, a board member of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Healthcare, and as a member of the advisory board for the Santa Clara Medical Respite. As a mother of four children, with a background in serving homeless youth, she recognized the importance of family support through multiple stages of child development and believes that Family Connections is exemplary in its provision of service to both the Portola and Excelsior communities. For the past 25 years, Mollie has worked as an employee, consultant, and volunteer with non-profits specializing in human services and public policy. She is currently the Director of Program and Community Development for Huckleberry Youth Programs, an agency specializing in serving at-risk youth in the areas of health, juvenile justice, and abuse prevention.Mollie Ward Brown
